For all those who are talking in the favor of religion were probably dormant when their teachers were teaching about the theory of evolution. The technological advancements and development has been done by man himself. Religion has led to the concept of divides, while science has united the world. It is not religion that has invented light or for that fact the laptop or mobile you are watching this debate on. It is science that has nurtured lives on earth.

Science has enabled us to foresee the future, predict it accurately, and be equipped emotionally and physically for it. Religion may be able to predict or foresee the future, but it has always been Science, which can instil the preparedness. Science has gifted us our lives, practically, with all the inventions, without which we surely cannot survive. It is science, which has given us the powerful technology to combat the enemies and protect ourselves- which religion's theories or sermons aren't ... see more

Very early on in my life, I had learned that there is nothing good that the concept of religion can do. I have seen people fighting in the name of religion. Religion is a regressive concept. On the other hand, science has nurtured lives on this planet. All the inventions, the phone we can talk on, the vehicle we use for transportation to the laptop I am using right now to right on this column is because of science. Science has helped human beings progress, while religion suppresses the growth. A... see more

For all those who wake up everyday and get in awe of the sunrise, thinking it’s a continuous miracle of the lord almighty are yet to comprehend the concept of solar system and of Earth revolving around the Sun. The concept of a higher being (referred to as God, Allah, and many hundreds of such terms) is way too overrated. The ugly truth has been that religions and their Gods have been in practice for the establishing a control over the masses. No wonder they have always ben against science and e... see more

Where Science fails to explain, religion fill in the gap. Even Galileo believed God exists! Science was intended to aid religion in explaining how life works in the simple, smallest of details by using man's observation, senses and intellect.

Science has limitations. It's just a set of tools. It can only go so far. Religion addresses meta physical questions - the big questions - a lot of which science doesn't even have the tools to measure.

There is a raging battle between science and religion. Those that believe in science say that they have evidence, while those that believe in religion, believe that life is just taking its natural course. It is a very hard nut to crack, and I guess it all goes down to what people believe in. much as science has some evidence of the evolution of man, the teachings from the scripts have also been accurate when you look at history, including the pyramids in Egypt, the synagogues in Israel, and a wh... see more

Benjamin Disraeli said “where knowledge ends, religion begins”. There are 2 sets of people who are not religious. 1 set has never tried religion per se. They don’t know what it is like to be religious, don’t feel they need to give it a try and are happy with the status quo. Second set has been religious for a while. Tried doing the things they were told to but failed to see the “promised” light and hence quit. For the first set of people, I would say, you have to really know, understand and per... see more

Science only proves what Religion has written thousand of years ago. Like the Big Bang Theory is God's Creation of Earth. Science has been a vessel for giving all the details of how God has created everything as what has religion been teaching all this time.

I believe religion is more important than science.

Science is just the study of physical and natural world whereas, religion goes beyond that. Religion has to do with pursuit of enlightenment or illumination beyond what science can answer. Therefore, the disparity between the two is immeasurable. Indeed, it is rather futile to some extent to even debate these two concepts when they're not even at par with one another to be debated.

Can science continue life?

Yes, science has played a key role in... see more

Those who are vouching for science are either atheists or would sooner or later resort to almighty when the need arises. In 2014, I was completely broke and in debt. My business was in dire straits and there was no chance for a comeback. It’s only my wife’s eternal faith in God and her religiousness that has changed the course for me. There was a big turnaround in 2016. Suddenly, I started getting customers and we started making ends meet. Today, I am in a better position and I am not only able ... see more

Religion has existed throughout time. Science has yet to discover what religion has already written and taught its believers almost half a millennia ago.
