SAN FRANCISCO, OPEN THE GOLDEN GATES!
I am a techie nerd and a complete workaholic. I love San Francisco. This city has provided me with a great platform to do something substantial in the field of technology. I am able to think innovatively and ideate new projects at work. When it comes to future, I look forward to be in San Francisco. I have been here for a while and I think this city has lots of prospects. Yes, you can argue that life is a bit hectic here, and the cost of living is high, but I am of the hard working mold. I don’t... see more
The mecca of tech and culture combined! Less deushy and less superficial. NorCal is way better than SoCal.
I live on the East Coast, and I am considering moving to the other side. It has to be San Francisco, over Los Angeles.
LA may be pretty and glamorous, but eventually, it is just a drab. The ‘wholesome’ environment that SF has to offer is much better than dealing with LA and its toxicity, thanks to the Hollywood. I would not want my family to have way too much of glam, it just hampers their personal growth. Apart from that, the education is much better in SF- more like, the best of it. Public Tr... see more
I must acknowledge the fact that both Los Angeles and San Francisco are two amazing cities. However, I have to give it to San Francisco base on the following reasons:
1. The traffic in Los Angeles is probably the worst in the USA. It's a soul-crushing and obnoxious menace. It's predictable and it's ALWAYS there whereas, reverse is the case at San Francisco.
2. As the popular adage goes that, “ food is life”. Sadly, for Los Angeles, the number of top chefs and nationwide acknowledged reputable re... see more
I am constantly on the move, touring different cities, and coming across this debate as to whether it is Los Angeles or San Francisco that is the king of the West Coast, I just had to chip in. as a tourist destination, both cities are great, although my overall preference would be San Francisco. I can bet that you're wondering why, so sit back and let me explain it to you.
No rental cars are required in San Francisco, since it is a small city. You can easily get from point A to B walking, using... see more
LA is so politically biased.. ppl there are absolutely insane.. brainwashed
There have been heated debates as to which city rules the West Coast, the Bay Area, or Los Angeles! In my view, I would generally prefer Los Angeles over San Francisco any time, and that is because of the following reasons:
The weather in Los Angeles if way better than that of San Francisco, any time, and I even wonder whether there is any sun that actually shines in the Bay Area.
I love the beach, and I must say that the beaches in Los Angeles are way more superior than those in San Francisco... see more
I love Los Angeles! Probably one of the most picturesque cities. They have the best food, always sunny, laid back, most entertaining, not to mention Hollywood the home of the stars!
San fran Vs LA video.. you decide!
Los Angeles is the best city in the world, definitely better than SF in most respects.
- More diverse culture in LA
- Sunny all day every day
- More attractive people
- Better city to be single
- More entertainment
- More art & culture
- Less tech 'bros'
- Traffic is so effing brutal
- Food scene is better in SF than LA
- The outdoors and scenery is better in SF
Overall, LA takes the
LA is the Hollywood ad fashion hub and is more picturesque than San Francisco. There is cultural and career diversity in LA. Life at San Francisco is more of mundane compared to Los Angeles. Moreover, LA is more spread out and offers more locations to visit than San Francisco.
LA is much better to live- both the cities are very expensive, but at least, LA does not have fog like SF. Weather is pretty much awesome in LA, and it does not get cold quickly, unlike in SF. Apart from the weather, LA is THE hub for diversity in culture, ethnicities, and fashion. Beaches are absolutely great in LA, and the water is warmer, unlike the beaches of SF. LA offers authentic Mexican and Korean food, to name a few.
Fun Fact: LA also houses Universal Studios (Yay?), Six Fl... see more
This city has changed my life. I was working in San Francisco for long shifts just to make ends meet. I wasn’t happy with my job. However, I was in my comfort zone as I had been here for 3 years. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and applied for lots of jobs until I got a job offer from a well-known company in Los Angeles. I was a little nervous to go to a new city and start a new life. However, LA felt good. The weather wasn’t that harsh. It was warmer than San Francisco. In my apartment, ... see more
LA has hollywood... so we win
I feel safer in Los Angeles! With the Pacifc ring of fire being in an active state and with the San Andreas fault having minor earthquakes often, I'd rather live here! Hollywood is just and added bonus living in LA, LOL!
