I don't want any of the other crap. I just want the icecream!!!
When it comes to ice cream, I would rather go for a cup any day, as compared to a cone. I can bet you're wondering why, and I'm going to tell you just why. First off, ice cream cones might feel good after the first few slurps, but when the ice cream starts melting and running all over your fingers, and dripping on things such as clothing and seats, you will wish that you had picked a cup instead.
Secondly, when you have multiple ice cream flavors in a cone, they will blend together, and you won... see more
I would go for a cup any time, and this is for obvious reasons. One of the main reasons of taking ice cream is to cool down on a hot day. Now, imagine an ice cream cone melting and dripping all over the place, and even on your clothes. You wouldn’t really enjoy eating it because you would have to gulp it down quickly. You also wouldn’t enjoy the taste of different flavors, if they were all in one cone. That is the reason why a cup would make my day any time, a disposable, recyclable cup.
I hate mess! So, i'd prefer to eat my ice cream in a cup! I don't need more sugar as it is since there are a lot already in a scoop of ice cream.
Being an ardent lover of ice cream, I prefer cup- I can get more of it, and can relish it, without worrying about the melted ice cream dripping down on my fingers and staining my clothes! Personally, I prefer having two flavors together, and it gets a bit messy in the cone!
I personally love to have ice-cream in a cup. Cup offers comfort, ensures that there is no spillage and of course comes in so many different flavors. Whereas when it comes to cone, it offers few flavors and sometimes you also end up sharing it with your shirt. I think cone suppresses the original taste of the flavor of ice-cream. You can have single scoop or double scoop in the cup, whereas cone offers limited ice-cream.
I have always preferred ice cream in cups. It comes in good quantity and I think that cone dwarfs the taste of original flavor like one of the people on this side of the column has pointed out. Moreover, I like to eat with spoon. The experience is better. In case of cone, you need to have a tissue paper handy because there are more chances of spillage.
Cone all day!
You can't eat a cup. But you can eat a cone. Especially when they're chocolate coated.
Ice cream on a cone is pure indulgence! I mean, would you really enjoy slurping and munching all the goodness in a cup with a spoon? The cone also adds more texture to that soft creamy ice cream.
I will always fall in love with an ice cream on a cone. You eat everything! No waste at all! Let's save the environment and save ourselves from wasting food. It also kind of takes me back to my old child self. Good memories!
Waffle cones are my one true love
I would definitely go for the cone for obvious reasons. You get to eat the crunchy cone once you're done with the ice cream. Cups on the other hand, have to be disposed, and when not done properly, could become an environmental hazard, being that most of them are made from plastics. and even if you were to dispose the cone, it would degrade and not become a health hazard.
I would opt for the cone, as I do not want to be washing the cups and doing dishes at 12 AM in midnight, while everyone is pretty much satisfied after submitting to the cravings of ice-cream. Cones create less mess. You can eat the cone, after the ice cream. There is absolutely no need to be washing ceramic bowls, or throwing away the plastic cups, and adding to the woes of the environmental degradation. With new creameries coming up, there are loads of new combinations to try, with the cones. T... see more
Although, there's something to be said for the simplicity of the cup. It's a neat and tidy vessel (no risk of sticky drips here!) for the main attraction: ice cream. I'll have to go with cones because, cones offer zero waste and they add another dimension to one's eating experience: Making sure that one doesn't have a case of runaway ice cream takes technique and focus. And then there's the cone itself — crunchy and slightly sugary, it's definitely a suitable mate for one's flavor of choice.
I love ice cream in Cone. Ice cream in cups in offered in lots of flavors which confuse me. Cone has limited flavors and what I love the most about cone is the bottom-most part of it. As I am someone who has mastered the art of eating ice cream in cone, I know how to stay exempt of spillage.
I'll go for cone all the way! You can feel that you are really eating an ice cream when you lick, slurp, or bite that cold creamy flavorful ice cream!
